Iceland is so far north, there are only about 2 hours of “nighttime” in the summer. But for a photographer, 2 hours of nighttime can translate into 5 hours of the golden light needed for breathtaking landscape photography as sunset merges into sunrise creating endless soft light. Just for comparison, that golden light in North America covers only about a 10 minute time span.
Our Iceland photo tour is for the serious landscape photography enthusiast who wants to learn how to create an amazing portfolio of landscape photography images. Lead by 3 professional photographers and a native Icelander, we will guide you to the right locations at the right time for the best photographic results. Our Icelandic guide will use his expert knowledge of local conditions to “chase the light” as it changes throughout the day and evening giving you maximum exposure to this grand landscape. For more information and a detailed itinerary for our trip running July 15-25, 2014, contact us and don’t forget to subscribe and share!
